Court Square Capital to Acquire MailSouth from New Mountain Capital
Court Square sees opportunities to continue company’s growth trajectory

Helena, Alabama (October 29, 2010)--MailSouth, a leader in shared mail advertising for rural and suburban markets, announced today that it has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by funds affiliated with Court Square Capital Partners, a leading private equity firm. This acquisition will enable MailSouth to continue its already rapid growth rate while enhancing its commitment to customer success. The existing MailSouth management team, under the leadership of CEO Albert Braunfisch and President Tom Settle, will continue in its role and partner with Court Square to drive the next phase of MailSouth’s expansion.

The transaction will bring to a close MailSouth’s successful partnership with New Mountain Capital. Over the course of New Mountain’s investment in MailSouth from 2005 to today, the Company experienced significant organic growth and business building, completed three acquisitions, and significantly enhanced its operations and capabilities.

MailSouth Announces Weekly Shared Mail Frequency in North Carolina Markets

Helena, Alabama (April 16, 2010) - MailSouth, a leading direct mail provider in rural America, today announced the company will increase Smart Market delivery frequency in two North Carolina markets (Greensboro and Goldsboro).

The announced increase in Smart Market mailer frequency was a response to consumer-driven demand for coupons and other money-saving advertising. Service providers and retailers are using more direct response media, such as direct mail, and increasing frequency of their advertising.

Local businesses will benefit from the efficiency of the shared mail weekly delivery and the precision of MailSouth targeting capabilities. Consumers will benefit from valuable money-saving offers.

MailSouth will begin the weekly shared mail program in the Goldsboro and Greensboro, North Carolina, markets starting May 11, 2010. The program will add 250,000 households to the weekly distribution list.

The company’s frequency growth in North Carolina began in February when the Winston-Salem market was added to the weekly delivery schedule. With the two new May additions, MailSouth will offer weekly shared mail frequency in 20 North Carolina markets.

Other weekly markets in North Carolina include: Denton, Denver, Gibsonville, Granite Falls, Hickory, High Point, Huntersville, Lenoir, Mocksville, Morganton, Mount Olive, Mooresville, Newton, Reidsville, Statesville, Taylorsville and Valdese.

As with monthly Smart Market programs, a variety of print products will be available to cost-effectively reach households. Businesses will have the opportunity to use MailSouth's proprietary targeting platform to reach consumers at a market, ZIP code, or a carrier route level.

Cox Enterprises to Sell Saving Source Direct to MailSouth

ATLANTA (May 19, 2009) – Cox Enterprises, Inc. announced today it has reached a definitive agreement to sell Tarboro, N.C.-based Saving Source Direct to MailSouth, headquartered in Helena, Ala. The transaction is expected to close May 26, 2009.

Saving Source Direct, formerly known as PAGAS Mailing Services, is the local source for valueoriented content and coupons in more than 100 markets throughout North Carolina. Top markets include Greensboro, Winston-Salem, Wilmington, Asheville, Greenville, Goldsboro, Rocky Mount and Elizabeth City. Each month Saving Source Direct reaches more than three million homes. Announcing the NEW MailSouth Shared Plus Program

Helena, AL (October 17, 2008) - Today MailSouth announced the launch of the Shared Plus program.

This program has been developed to address the needs of its clients that have a desire to reach specific geography where shared mail programs are not available. During the introductory phase, the program will ad 1.2 million households that will run from end of December 2008 through June 2009.

Advertising To Benefit Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Helena, AL (Sept. 30, 2008) - MailSouth today announced advertising space appearing in 9/30, 10/16 and 10/29 mailings will benefit breast cancer awareness. The donated advertising promotes the importance of regular screenings and early detection. Roughly 39 million households will receive this information.

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (NBCAM). Since the program began in 1985, mammography rates have more than doubled for women age 50 and older and breast cancer deaths have declined.
